British Academy Conference in September ’25: Sound, Nature and Wellbeing in Ageing

SAGE is delighted to announce more details about our conference on Sound, Nature and Wellbeing in Ageing in September 2025.

British Academy/Wellcome Trust Conferences bring together scholars and specialists from around the world to explore themes related to health and wellbeing.

The state of our wellbeing has a profound impact on our quality of life. This conference focuses on how sound and nature can inspire wellbeing in both older people and those receiving care by bringing together researchers and practitioners who are either developing research in the area or creating initiatives aimed at these populations. Topics that will be explored include the influence that sound has on wellbeing in ageing, sound and wellbeing in natural environments, and emerging methodologies for navigating the challenges of interdisciplinary research focused on age and environment.
